:: Racing Action Set for Thunder Alley

Evans Mills NY… After a week of Mother Nature dampening racing action at Caprara’s Thunder Alley Speed Park, action is set to resume on Friday, May 9, 2008. Set for action will be the DIRT Sportsman, DIRT Pro Stocks, Purestocks, Thunder Cars and Mod Lites.

“Rain hampered any racing action last weekend at Thunder Alley,” commented Chip Burdick. “We have the Pro Stocks back again next week adding to our racing action. It should be a great show and we are looking forward to it.”

The DIRT Sportsman will race their 30 lap feature event with the winner taking home $600. The DIRT Prostocks will also be in action with the winner of that 25 lap feature event taking home $500. Joining those two divisions will be the Purestocks, Thunder Cars and Mod Lites

Gates open at 5pm on Friday, May 9, 2008, with racing action beginning promptly at 7:30. Admission is $12 for adults, children ages 10 to 14 are $5 and children 9 and under are always free. Military are also given a half price admission for general admission tickets.

:: Mother Nature Washes Action At Thunder Alley (Friday, May 2)

Evans Mills NY… For the first time in 2008, Mother Nature has pulled the plug on racing action at Caprara’s Thunder Alley Speed Park. On tap for the evenings racing action was to be the DIRT Sportsman, DIRT Street Stocks, Purestocks, Thunder Cars, Mod Lites and One on One Spectator race.

“Tonight was going to be a great night,” commented Chip Burdick. “We had a full night of racing and the one on one spectator races, which are always a huge hit with the fans. It’s disappointing because we rained out last week at Can-Am, so I know drivers and fans are getting anxious to get this racing season in full action. We will do it all over again next week.”

Next week at Caprara’s Thunder Alley Speed Park will be the DIRT Sportsman, DIRT Prostocks, Purestocks, Thunder Cars and Mod Lites.
